Bring to the Christmas Eve Children Liturgy.
All children, young and old, attending the Children's Liturgy on Christmas Eve are invited to bring an unwrapped baby item that will be donated to the St. Elizabeth/Coleman Center. St. Elizabeth/Coleman serves many young single mothers by helping with basic necessities for their newborns and small children.
Items needed by St. Elizabeth/Coleman: Baby Gowns,
Onesies T-Shirts, Outfits, Blankets, Booties and Socks,
Disposable Diapers, Bottles, Baby Shampoo, Lotion, Oil,

The boys volleyball registration has been re-opened until December 2, 2011. Registration at this time does require a $15 late fee payment; please register at www.cyoarchindy.org
Boys’ volleyball is open to all young men in Grades 5-8.

Parish Council Meeting
All Parishioners are welcome to attend any Parish Pastoral Council Meeting. The next meeting is at 7 pm this Thursday, November 17th in the OR room at the Parish Center. All Commissions (Faith Formation; Family/Social; Finance; School; Social Justice; Spiritual Life; and Youth Ministry) will be providing updates. Whether you’re interested in learning more about a certain Commission or if you would like know more about all that is happening around the Parish feel free to attend and invite a friend to join you.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST!
The St. Jude Cub Scouts Pack 51 will be having our pancake breakfast on Sunday November 20 from 8AM to Noon in the cafeteria. SACK LUNCHES ON NOVEMBER 11!
We are asking for help with lunches on the 11th. Due to the reception in the cafeteria for our Veterans and Grandparents, students will eat sack lunches in their classrooms. Lunch will begin at 12:00 noon for all grades. Sack lunches will be available in the cafeteria but we ask that if possible – students bring their lunch on the 11th. This will help with the lunch line. We appreciate your help!

ST. JUDE FAMILY NIGHT/ OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE AND THE MEXICAN CULTURE
Saturday Dec. 10 from 6:15pm-8pm! Senora Seidle (Spanish teacher) and the 7th grade Spanish class would like to invite all of the St. Jude families to a night of fun and celebration. On this night we will be celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Mexican culture. Join us for food, desserts, crafts, a play and honoring our beautiful heavenly mother. Have you ever wondered how Rock and Roll REALLY began? You are probably thinking that it began with Chubby Checkers or Elvis…right? Wrong! It all began way back in the time of the cavemen… when dinosaurs roamed the earth…and..well…. I don’t want to spoil the rest. Come out and join the students in Grades 1, 3, 5, and 6 as they tell you the rest of the story. “We Put the Rock” in rock and roll is presented on Tuesday, November 15th, at 7:00 p.m. in the church.

Friday, November 11, Grandparents are invited to join us to celebrate Veterans Day, enjoy the “Book Fair” and spend some “school time” with grandchildren. The events of the day are as follows:

During this time Grandparent’s may visit the classrooms and of course - the Book Fair.
